About Calrom

Calrom is a powerhouse of software development with a proven record of delivering innovative digital solutions to complex business challenges within the travel and airline industry.

Manchester UK

As a Microsoft Partner, our core technology stack uses the Microsoft .NET platform. We supplement this with key open source and third party frameworks to ensure we’re working with the optimum tools to support our business needs.

We use the latest technology tools and methods, such as modern JavaScript frameworks, responsive design virtualisation, automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, distributed version control, and agile process management to deliver a highly-decoupled service based architecture.

Our journey

In 2007, Calrom was established with a head office in Manchester, UK to support the relationship between British Airways and sister company Lime. As their partnership evolved, Calrom was designed to create new, cost-effective solutions across markets, including trade flight and group booking solutions.

In 2009, the group’s third company Aviate was established as a trade-only flight specialist using Calrom’s software and now works with over 70 of the world’s best airlines. To date, Lime and Aviate still exclusively use Calrom’s innovative flight and group booking systems and in 2018, the Travel Innovation Group was established to unite Calrom, Lime and Aviate under the shared principles of innovation and group strength.

In addition to supplying software to its sister companies, Calrom has expanded to develop market-leading software solutions directly for the world’s leading airlines, including award winning Groups Next Gen.

Since launch, we’ve been on a consistent growth trajectory and now employ over 150 staff in the UK and Lahore, Pakistan.
