Here at Calrom, we’ve been creating innovative airline software since 2007. We’re fast-moving – in the travel industry, that’s essential! – and forward-thinking, focusing on building partnerships with you to help solve your frustrations.

Our unique approach comes from working directly with both airlines and tour operators: we can truly say that we understand what you and your customers want, helping us to create the software that caters directly to your needs and takes away your pain points.

We're also part of the Travel Innovation Group

Together with sister companies Lime & Aviate, both of whom use Calrom’s bespoke technology for their tour operator flight & group booking systems, our group strength ensures we have the experience and resources to deliver on our ambitious vision.

Our ability to remain agile has propelled our growth and allows us to continue innovating ways to future-proof your business.

Our leadership team

With over 100 years of combined experience, it’s safe to say our leadership team can deliver what you need from us – and beyond.

From his background in airport technology, our Chief Technology Officer Simon came to us in 2018 to lead Calrom’s technology solutions. He’s responsible for overseeing new innovations and ensuring all our new projects are delivered to partners.

Not only Simon an aviation technology pioneer, he’s also a licensed private pilot! You’ll also find him cheering on Manchester United or protecting our important pollinators as a dedicated beekeeper.

From his vast travel experience at British Airways and our sister company Lime, Kieran is a key member of the team who delivered Groups Next Gen (GNG) to Qantas in 2014, only two years after he joined us. Now he manages our relationship with the airline, along with working with prospective partners on GNG solutions.

Kieran is a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan – he even has a whole room in his house dedicated to both franchises!

Since his time studying Electronic Engineering at the University of Pretoria, Simon worked across numerous industries before joining Calrom as a Development Manager in 2008. Now our GNG Head of Product, you’ll find him overseeing the build and delivery of Groups Next Gen, working closely with our airline partners to ensure we’re providing the best Group flights solution on the market.

Outside of work, Simon follows the trials and tribulations of the McLaren and Williams Formula 1 teams, and likes to get away from tech by renovating his house.

The newest addition to Calrom’s management team, joining in 2023, Neil brings a wealth of experience in aviation technology and leadership with him. He drives forward continual innovation on our Groups products, whilst supporting existing and new partners to foster a positive experience for all.

Out of the office, Neil enjoys coaching his son’s football team and walking his family dog!

As Chief Financial Officer, ACCA-qualified Darren has been responsible for the finances across Calrom and the Travel Innovation Group since 2003. That’s a hefty list including the completion of the Travel Innovation Group’s statutory accounts, statutory reporting to HMRC, CAA and IATA, as well as budgets and forecasts.

If Darren isn’t at Goodison Park, making the most of his Everton FC season tickets, then you’ll most likely find him on a golf course!

Lorraine is our incredibly experienced Chief HR Officer, who has been with us since 2007 and racks up over 35 years in the profession. She’s responsible for all areas of Calrom’s HR including strategy and implementation, recruitment, policies and procedures, employee remuneration and more.

When out of work, Lorraine loves to be in the great outdoors – whether that’s relaxing in the sun, tending to her garden or getting stuck into some exercise.

One of us! One of us!
