As a Microsoft Partner, our core technology stack uses the Microsoft .NET platform, but we supplement this with key open source, and third party frameworks and tools to ensure we are working with the optimum tools and frameworks to support our business needs.

Over his 25 years of experience in the travel industry, Warren has held various sales, business development, commercial and general management positions with high street travel agency groups, leading flight consolidators, and luxury tour operators. In addition to his commercial director role at Calrom, Warren holds equivalent positions within Calrom’s sister companies Lime and Aviate.
Warren was one of the founding directors of Lime Management, and led the implementation of Lime’s group desk service and Calrom’s Groups Next Gen for British Airways and Iberia in North America. Warren’s role at Calrom involves him in business development, marketing, and commercial activities. He also holds responsibility for NDC related projects and services, and product ownership of Calrom’s Staff Travel and Interline Travel Zone systems.
Simon Wilkins joined Calrom as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in 2018, taking over from Technical Director John Fisher. Graduating in 1996 from Salford University with a BEng (Hons), Simon has held technical positions with Siemens Plc, Waters and Ultra Electronics. Simon’s most recent position was CTO at aviation technology company Ultra Electronics where he gained over 14 years experience of developing and delivering mission critical software platforms which have been implemented at airports including New York, Heathrow and Bejing.
In his new position, Simon will drive forward solutions such as Groups Next Gen (GNG) which enables airlines including Qantas to manage the entire group booking process.
Brian has more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry, having worked for several US-based airlines in various operational, sales, and revenue management roles. He has also held leadership roles within Sabre and Datalex. Brian’s role at Calrom involves him in business development, marketing, and commercial activities for the Americas region from our Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas location
Kieran has 12 years’ experience in the travel industry, having worked for British Airways frequent flyer programme and various sales and operational roles within Calrom’s sister company Lime. Kieran is a key member of the leadership team who delivered GNG to Qantas in 2014
Simon brings over 25 years of experience in software development. After gaining a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria, Simon has worked in diverse industries such as banking, manufacturing, and security for a selection of blue chip companies including Barclays, Toyota USA, and Stanley Black & Decker.
Simon joined Calrom in 2008 as development manager and during this time he has focused on building agile development teams delivering software solutions in rapidly changing environments, ensuring there is a focus on the whole development process from initial scoping to final testing.
Lorraine has over 30 years’ experience across several industries including travel and media and has held various sales, training and development, HR and commercial management positions. As a qualified CIPD trainer, Lorraine has vast experience in coaching staff at all levels and has spent several years running management training programmes.
Lorraine’s main focus since joining the group in 2007 has been HR and training across all three companies. Within Calrom Lorraine is responsible for all areas of HR including strategy and implementation, recruitment, remuneration, benefits, and training and development.
Darren is responsible for finance across all companies within the group structure. In addition to his group role, Darren’s other responsibilities include the completion of the group’s statutory accounts, statutory reporting to HMRC, CAA and IATA, and budgets and forecasts.
Prior to joining the group in July 2003, Darren worked for Phillips Salisbury Chartered Accountants and the construction company Redrow Group PLC. Darren holds a BSc Econ in Economics and Economic Social History from Aberystwyth University.
Calrom was established in 2007 and its head office is in Wilmslow, Cheshire, UK. Following on from expansion, Calrom has opened up training, development and support offices in Manchester (UK), Lahore (Pakistan) and the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas (US) employing over 60 staff worldwide.
Our sister company, Lime was established in 2003 as an exclusive UK Inclusive Tour distribution solution to support British Airways strategically. As the relationship between Lime Management and British Airways evolved, the need for new, cost effective systems to deliver market specific services grew. Calrom was established to create and develop these solutions, and continues to develop and support all of Lime Management’s systems.
In 2009 Aviate, the third company in the group, was established as a trade only flight sales specialist offering net leisure fares on behalf of a range of airlines. Following the success of its Inclusive Tour service Aviate Management launched Aviate Groups, Aviate Cruise and Aviate Ticketing Services. Aviate currently has relationships with more than 60 airlines, and as with Lime, Calrom develops and supports all of the Aviate systems.
